We (Mind Furniture) had a song off of our first CD titled "End of Days", appropriately enough. It is on our playlist for the show in Berkeley with MoeTar and Heliopolis on Jan. 26th.
This is actually a love song. Albeit one that likens the end of every emotional sentiment to that of human "death", as in renewal and total revision of the self. It's without doubt one of the most powerful, soul-searching elegies in all of rock/pop music. But it's about "man" as cognitive and cerebral individual - not the universe or even mankind as species.
