There should be no razzing or ridicule. By definition of this thread, ALL forms of 80s metal is welcomed here.

My favorite Maiden album is Somewhere In Time. I caught 5 shows on that tour. Good performances from those guys!!

Exactly. It's called the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's up to each of us to decide which is which!

My favorite as well. I wish I could have seen that tour, but there was no way my dad or my older brother were driving me out to Richfield Coliseum to see the show.

There was a Stryper album I heard in the mid 80s called To Hell With The Devil, I think. Might've been another one. They looked like girls, but man could they play. Killer guitars, harmony solos and all.

    Great album!

I got this on the day it was released and my jaw dropped when I heard the first 5 1/2 minutes.

Listen to the opening which has "Abyss (To Hell With The Devil)" instrumental leading into "To Hell With The Devil".

I saw Raven open for Quiet Riot in the mid-90s. They definitely entertained!

Just played it. Makes me wanna buy a denim jacket and cut the sleeves off, then sew metal patches all over it. That's the type of knuckleheaded, metal fun I'm talking about. It's got a hell of a groove, and a fist pumping chorus. Kinda like "Balls To The Wall." Hilarious, and fun.

Question: What's that poor girl doing on that album cover? She looks like she's trying to shit metal......

Don't forget to load up on french fries, you'll need some zits to go with that denim.

I believe "Shitting Metal" was the 4th song on side 1...

Speaking of denim (man, these songs are all coming back to me now)....

Raven and Udo Dirkschneider from Accept (see zravkapt's post) collaborated on this Steppenwolf cover. If you wanna hear screamin...

I've a fantastic Saxon BluRay called "Heavy Metal Thunder". It contains a documentary movie on the band, a show from 1981, and a show from 2008. These guys are still rocking hard (though the current line-up is highly revamped). Biff still has the almost exact same voice!

So many bands still not mentioned yet:

    Mercyful Fate

    Swords & Axes

    Heavy Load

    Sad Iron

    Savage

    Grim Reaper....
