    The Amazing- Picture You

We had a thread started to announce this (then) upcoming release. Well, it was officially released a little over a week ago. I have only given it one spin so far but it's damn good! This band is putting together an excellent body of work so far. Not sure if there will ever be another Dungen album, but if Mr Fiske keeps working on projects like this one, then I can forgive him...

Here's a mini-documentary of the band in studio for this record:

There are a couple of really good tracks, the rest is kinda hit and miss, for me.

I always approach their albums as a whole. Sure some moments seem a little more subdued and subtle but they usually act to separate the stronger numbers. I have completely enjoyed everyone of their releases so far. They are one of my favorite discoveries of the last couple of years.

Love this album. My first exposure ever to them (Dungen connection aside) was the title track, bought the album and was really surprised by all of the hints at prog without it being "nuProg"

I suggest you start going backwards and pick up the rest of their material.

This band is one of my current favorites. Not sure if i like the new one "Picture You" better than the last release "Gentle Stream" but they're both brilliant. Their first self-titled album is pretty good and I still want to pick up the "Wait For a Light to Come" EP. Not super proggy; more of a psychedelic-folky with great melodies.
