That’s probably the most accurate definition if you’re talking prog-as-approach vs. the capital P Prog-as-style: You know, multi-part epics in odd time signatures, grizzled wizards plunking down sus4 chords on ‘trons; demons, wizards and fairies prancing about and all that.

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
funny you should post a pic of Sherman Hemsley cause he didnt only like Afro Prog and Fusion but he's actually on record as liking the all right Prog of the Brits as well
