I received the Rush Issue out here on the west coast a couple weeks ago. Via subscription.

Interesting insight as to the lack of ratings in the reviews. I actually like that, very refreshing in a medium where readers have come to "expect" some semblance of a rating system. Read the review and take from that what you will, has to make one think a bit.
As for the newest issue here in the states, I am pleased to report the Rush cover showed up at my local Barnes & Noble very recently (sometime since I checked previously a week ago), bought mine last night.
The bad news is that several of the wallets were damaged in this lot. I typically see one or two in a stack that some over-zealous (idiot) customer has tried to break inside and ends up tearing the wallet near where it is taped but there were a couple which had glaring tears on the front covers. I did manage to find one that was pristine as would be expected by any collector.
Issue #53 (Steven Wilson cover) landed in my mailbox yesterday. I still haven't received issue #52 (Rush cover). I e-mailed PROG and they shipped a replacement to me, but it has yet to arrive. I still don't see why those of us who subscribe to the physical mag can't also have the tablet version.

Rush issue appeared on Broadway on Tuesday this week 2/17. My usual place to buy this in Grand Central Station didn't have a copy as of Tuesday when I last checked. They have recently started selling books to the train riding crowd and reduced magazine rack space substantially so now they only carry a few issues of 'British' magazines like prog, uncut, mojo, hammer and they go fast. They still stock quite a few billboards and rolling stones though if anyone wants those. I never see anyone browsing that new book section but always had to sqeeze past people when there were mags on the shelf. Go figure. There was an actual book store in Grand Central that just went out of business in January so this magazine place has no competition anymore but still I never see anyone browsing their book section. It will probably turn into some other higher priced produce rather than shift back to mags.
The issue with Rush on the cover did finally arrive at a local Barnes and Noble in the Philadelphia suburbs. Yeah!
Got the Steven Wilson issue in the mail a couple of days ago.

The Rush issue arrived at our record store today.
Rush issue (52) replacement issue has finally arrived in my mailbox today (now that I've read #53 already )... I'm pleased they dealt with the problem, but I do wonder what happened to mine in the first place. Never had a problem with them before, and I've been subscribing since issue #6 (I think).

Some of us have been reading it since it was a black & white newsletter (well, maybe 24 pages or something) so we're used to the editorial schedule or lack thereof. Like Expose was.
I can understand that it isn't always advertised as such so I can see why some may be disappointed.
FYI The new most recent issue (with Steven Wilson on the cover) is now in US bookstores......
FYI I am aware there is yet another issue since then. I was just mentioning this for those of us in the US that have been waiting for the one with Wilson on it.
Sean, is the the issue w/ Story of a life writeup? Or was it the last one?
Still alive and well...
