Crossing the pond...
"Henry Cow always wanted to push itself, so sometimes we would write music that we couldn't actually play – I found that very encouraging." - Lindsay Cooper, 1998
"I have nothing to do with Endless River. Phew! This is not rocket science people, get a grip." - Roger Waters, 2014
"I'm a collector. And I've always just seemed to collect personalities." - David Bowie, 1973
That's about as compact as a European continental "tour" gets - 2 cities.
Well, at least there's Paris. Twice ! Yippie !

As someone who saw this show in the states I'm glad our friends across the pond are now getting a chance. And kicking it off at Friars just seems so... proggy!
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
Apparently UK sales begin this Friday at 9am. It's unclear whether this means continental dates will begin selling at the same time (that is, 10am French time).
Edit/update: Confirmed, Paris tickets begin selling this Friday 10am at gdp.fr

Think I may have to attend one of these!
What's up with the one-eyed person? Kinda creepy. :/

Almost like http://www.chetzar.com/ is designing flyers for them.
What was the last time KC played Holland? Must've been aeons!
Hoping to go, though current financial situation is bad ... very bad... €70 is a lot of money no matter how you look at it ...
HuGo"Very, very nice," said a man in the crowd,

She was gold alright, but then so is rust.
"Such a shame about the beard."
Nice, paris 2 shows straight after the RIO fest, couldnt ask for more! (Ok, add VDGG before the fest and I am happy as fish)
On sale now to 02 priority! Got mine for brum. Considering Manchester.
Got one for the second London date. Never thought I'd see KC again. But now they'd better be good for that much money (and I went for the cheapest ticket)!

Good grief. Ticket prices are INSANE.
I must need my head testing. Just paid £75 for a ticket in the Upper Circle.
The most I've ever paid for a concert, I think...
I had two tickets in my cart at 9.05 this morning for Manchester. On check out I just could not bring myself to part with the best part of £150.00.
To put this in perspective, the total for two tickets recently purchased for all of the following forthcoming gigs, Anglagard, Ariel Pink, Magma , Gary Boyle and Gryphon when added up and combined was much less than King Crimson's asking price.

my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Crimson in Manchester here I come.
Costs a lot, but could be only chance to see them ever.
I think they have seriously under considered the demand for tickets. The Manchester venue is tiny and only has a few seats left now. Official sale is not until tomorrow!
Was chuffed to get an email from St David's hall cardiff on Tuesday offering me a pre sale at 9.00 today, with a day of fwork no hassle being able to book, and dealing with their box office direct spared me the mega stress of ticket master. Was able to get a 3rd row centre stalls ticket, very pricey at £65 but I thought I may never ever get the chance again to see KC so what the hell, I know I'd regret it if I didnt . There were cheaper seats available but I know id regret not spending another £25 I'd if I was up In The gods seeing the people in the front rows when the date came round. They also had had a pre sale for joe satriani with the first few rows going for £170 as part of a meet and greet. Way to rich for me but managed to get 5th row seat for £35 which I'm really pleased with. I've always wanted to see joe, hopefully he will have mike Keneally touring with him again, but im sure he will be good whoever is backing him.
I suspect there were a limited number of pre-sales tickets, which is what you were seeing. I hadn't been aware of the pre-sales and when I tried last night there were none available. I just got a couple from the general sales though - woo-hoo!
The friend I am going with is familiar with the venue and says the Lowry isn't *that* small. About 2000 seats maybe.
Brighton, here I come!
