I wouldn't go that far, but I find her attractiveness very middling, and I favor redheads. I don't think Jennifer Aniston is anything special looks-wise either.

She's a product of movie magic. In the movies she looks ok to good. In normal life, she looks very different.

It's comments like this that makes people think Buckeye fans are crazy.

Jen is in my top 10.

    Agreed about Kidman, tho.

^ Hmm...Might as well go for the trifecta and admit that Christie Brinkley never did that much for me either.

I would tap Kidman in a heartbeat. Different strokes, I guess.

Back to TV - Archer is back and the jokes were non-stop. Man, their animation has gotten so much better it's ridiculous. I hope we get a Rush reference this season.

This show is literally a well krafted horror. Insane to think that this actually happened.

Well I wouldn't kick her out of bed (but that isn't a very discriminatory criteria for me)

Hence my "chang(ing) the subject" comment above.

New season Fear of The Walking Dead--started out pretty well last night.

Followed by Joe Hill's vampire adaptation, NOS4O2, which started out pretty well. Both AMC.

Yeah we really enjoyed that. I hope there will be a second season! Matt Berry is always hilarious, but everyone in that cast was top notch!

That's awesome, going to have to tell Denise about that. We just stumbled on to it on FX 'cause it comes on after the Simpsons on certain nights. lol So I had no idea it was based on a movie till I came to this thread today. She loves it, is going to be excited to catch the movie for sure.

I've been reading about Dead To Me on this thread. We're looking for our next series to binge, but have been shying away from this because it looked chick flickish. So this is quality stuff?

It ain't no chick flick, my friend. One of my favorites of the new season.

Dead to Me is from the Creator of Two Broke Girls, but is a lot darker and less *girly* than 2BG.

It's a quick watch per the episodes are 30 minutes or less.

For those of you who watched & enjoyed Chernobyl, like me, may I recommend a documentary? It's called White Light/Black Rain. It's on HBO, too. It's about the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It's so good I own the DVD.

I've seen it three times and am about to watch it again as a sort of companion piece to Chernobyl.

Incidentally, there's some killer music in it, too, primarily from Mogwai and, IIRC, Sigur Ros, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, it's still an excellent documentary.

    "Chick flickish"?

In case you don't remember, what I said was, "the show is a beautiful mixture of drama, dark comedy, buddy movie, crime story, and even a little bit of chick flick."

And from all that you focus on "chick flick"?

Fuckin' watch it, dude. Have I ever steered you wrong? (unless you lied to me about Santa Clarita Diet)

Spent a good part of yesterday binge watching "Black Summer". First 5 episodes were brilliant, then in episode 6 they all became superheroes? I hope it refers back to what the opening episodes were like. I thought it was brilliant how the show was basically about how an apocalyptic event would bring out the worse in us, not the best... Please don't turn it into Walking Dead...
