IMO the best show on TV, Counterpart, is officially dead after failing to find a new network or streaming home for a 3rd season.
Interesting... we made it about seven episodes in to season one and it was good, but we got sidetracked with other shows for a long while. And when it came back to season 2, it all built up on the DVR and I've been looking at it like a chore ever since. Never did go back to it, maybe I'll just wipe it altogether... can't watch everything nowadays.

I recently binged Castle Rock. That shit was cool.
Just watched ep. 1 & 2 of Dead To Me. Yup, it's damn good, and both CA & LC are killer & so is the writing. Applegate actually in this role reminds me of a Jen Aniston with bigger cojones!

It only gets better, Geeze.

I still haven't gotten to ep.3 of "Dead To Me", but (NO SPOILERS) I wonder if they should have let us in on what is (at the very least one of) the major plot point(s) so early not once but twice in ep. 2.
OTOH, it's quite an attention-getter (if you're paying attention). Great show!

^^^ Forget all that drivel above. I'm now only through 4 of 10 and major plot points & twists are flowing like water. This is one beautifully written show with great character development & I'm not even through half of it.

I'm just taking the show runner at his word who has already said that while Netflix hasn't announced it yet, he anticipates that they will soon, and it will be in March or April of 2020. They're even debating whether or not there will be a season 5 as well or season 4 will be the last one right now.
I do admit and apologize that out of excitement I incorrectly used the word "already", which was not accurate, but I'll bet the farm that there's at least one more season.

Do you even own a farm? This bet is ringing hollow!

Just finished Dead To Me. I predicted part but not all of how it would resolve. I don't want to use the word "end" since Netflix, cast & producers are still deciding whether to continue the story with a season 2. I really hope they do. This show was damned impressive!

I finally finished the Formula 1 documentary on Netflix “Drive To Survive”. I really enjoyed it. I have been a race fan for years, but not all that knowledgeable about F-1, so it was interesting to me. The focus was more on the mid-level and low-level teams than the top dogs, which was also unique. It was very well filmed as well. Being a big Sprint car fan, I enjoyed the scene where Tony Stewart put the Hass driver (I forget his name) in a Sprint car on a dirt track. Anyway, it is a great documentary series if you are at all into auto racing.

I've been saying for a couple or more decades that All in the Family could not be made today. Seems I was wrong.
Not only that but it's a crossover episode with The Jefferson's. Wednesday on ABC.
It's live and improvised(I'm assuming) with Jaime Foxx, Wanda Sykes, Will Ferrell and a host of others I don't remember even though I just saw the commercial a few minutes ago.
Either a great show or a horrible bomb. I don't see this as a "Meh, ok" show.

^ I think it's a one-off, which is an oddity.

Another thumbs-up for "Dead To Me". Linda Cardellini is just a terrific actor; I've loved her in everything from Freaks & Geeks to Mad Men to (especially) Bloodline. Something new on Netflix that I binged today: a goofy little series called "It's Bruno!" featuring a bunch of people I've never heard of. Bruno is a dog who lives with his human Malcolm in Brooklyn. My first reaction was Seinfeld with dogs. It has that kind of "show about nothing", character-driven vibe. Easy to binge since each ep is only around 15 minutes, but I liked it.
I don't see this as a full season show either, just a one off like you said. I do wonder if they can be as politically incorrect as AITF was back then. Then again, language censorship seems to be lacking, in some respects, to what can be said on tv these days. Just watched the latest episode of Brockmire on IFC and there were at least three fucks in the show. Not that I care but it's kinda shocking to hear it on tv.
Anyway, I'll never be able to watch Game of Thrones as the spoilers will come out in the next few days and I won't be able to not see them. Never seen anything from the show and I think I'd kinda like it but I can't watch something where I know how it ends. Oh well, not as if I really needed to see it. Plenty of other shows out there.
My n button seems to be on the fritz so if I missed some n's in the edit I hope you can figure out what I'm saying.
