    Latest Netflix watches:

Just finished the 2nd season of Making A Murderer. They didn't do much to change my mind on the verdicts.

Ballad Of Buster Scruggs which was pure Cohen brothers fun.

Currently about half way through the documentary about filmaker Brian Depalma. Enjoying a lot so far.

Since it wasn't called Killing Yevis I never made the connection.

Have either of you seen Luther? I have it on my list but haven't gotten around to watching it, yet.

A couple of other shows that have piqued my interest are Bodyguard and Safe (starring Michael C Hall). Both are British TV shows. Anyone seen them?
Haven't seen any of those, but Safe is on my list. Should check the others! I'd also love to see one of the episodes in Welsh, for fun, and to test my woeful Welsh....

    BTW, what was the novel?

Bodyguard was good, I thought it was fantastic and took a wrong turn, but still good. Safe was also quite good. Michael C Hall's British accent kind of wavered throughout though.

I just finished the two seasons of Handmaid's Tale. Really good.

Season 1 of the handmaids tale was great. Season 2 a lot less so. Mainly misery-porn with little major plot developments.

I'm still not sure what to make of the season 2 ending. I want to like it, but it screams "Now we can do a season 3!" to me.

But I could gaze at Yvonne Strahovski all day long, so...

Handmaid's Tale should have been just one season. The book isn't THAT long! I have not seen season Two but it does not sound like the level of quality was maintained...

Candlenight by Phil Rickman. I thought it was pretty good.

Oh, she's absolutely stunning. Even in Handmaid's Tale where she is dressed very plainly and wears no makeup, etc. she's gorgeous. A natural beauty!

I first fell in love with her when she was on Chuck. Gorgeous woman.

I didn't recognize the name but I do recognize the face. After looking her up, I see she was on Dexter, which is what I know her from. Yeah, she's a looker.

Did you ever see Catfight? I seem to recall you showed an interest in it. Or am I misremembering?

Dexter was where I first saw her as well, and I was a drooling mess at the sight of her then, even though she was a murderous psycho.

Re: Killing Eve - My wife and I tried watching it, as we like both of the lead actresses from other things, but couldn't get into it. Too slick, too clever in the dialogue department, not what either of us wanted or were expecting. I realize I'm in the minority on that one, but it was a huge disappointment.

BBC America, and while season #2 has not started, a season #1 marathon (8 ep.) starts tomorrow morning on BBC America at 7:00am EST.

I can't recommend this show highly enough.

Ah, found it running in the middle of the night here. I set the DVR to catch it all. Thanks, Geez!

Yes! Great show. I don’t know if they ever made a 2nd season but they did elude to continuing story (though not as a cliffhanger).

Just saw that my gf's DVR recorded the whole season over again. It appears that it's "expanded." No idea what kind of additional content was added.

If in fact there's additional content, they never mentioned that once in the 4 or 5 promos I saw for the marathon, so I didn't record it and probably would have. Big mistake by BBC America to not once use the word "expanded".

I'm not sure if that's the word they used, Steve. I'll check when I can and will get back to you. Maybe they're On Demand?
