Isn't it a Netflix Original, therefore available for streaming at your convenience?

Gotcha! Netflix has taken it over and labelled it a Netflix original, but they do mention Discovery in the opening as well..

I don't even know what series you're talking about now. Please don't make me navigate back to the previous page, lol.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Mindhunter was very good. Did it get picked up for another season? I'd stick with it.
Anyone watching Netflix original The Five? I watched the first episode last night. Very interesting! Kid goes missing in the woods, he is thought to be dead as a man confesses to his murder yet no body found and 20 years later his DNA is found at a crime scene. I'm in.

You guys are talking about Mindhunt: The Unicycle, right?

For some reason my wife recorded a new Christmas reunion episode of the old(ish) sitcom Will & Grace, and since she put it on I watched it. It was terrible, but mercifully short. The weird thing is it had tons of really crude gay humor. I know the original show was sort of based around less explicit gay humor, and at the time it sort of was ok to do that, but think about this one line one of the guys says about an encounter with another guy: "He licked his finger and tended to my back garden." And this was on at prime time on a "network." Can you ever imagine them having a woman say that line on a prime-time "network" show? It was all in terrible taste and showed a really sort of backward, double-standard in my opinion. Just weird.
Well I'll continue on for the both of you! I'm definitely WAY too curious not to at least burn through a few more episodes. I like that I know none of the actors/actresses.

Ah, thanks.
I couldn't get my wife to stick with Mindhunter after the first couple episodes. I'll have to wait for her to fall asleep to finish it. This situation limits the time I can dedicate to series she doesn't like.
She likes "Strike Back" and has been binging that lately. Seems like every episode has to involve someone getting a quick shag, a few shootout scenes, and guys yelling "f*ck!" about ever 10 seconds. I don't have a problem with any of those things per se, but it gets old after a few episodes.

Just listened to an interview with Scott Frank on Fresh Air (NPR radio show). He is the creator/writer/director of Godless. He said it was originally supposed to be a movie but couldn't get it off the ground. That's how it ended up on Netflix.
Never heard of him? Neither had I. Here are some other things he's written, all of which I've seen and all I'd recommend: Little Man Tate, Get Shorty, Out of Sight, Minority Report, and The Lookout (his directorial debut).
I'm in.
If anyone's interested, here's the link to the podcast of the interview: 'Godless' Creator...

Watched the last few episodes of The Exorcist - pretty tense with some really decent effects. At times the writing gets a little cheesy but in other instances they pulled no punches.

Here's a question: How do you guys find out about new series on Netflix? Where are they advertised. I'm not one to browse around on Netflix, I just watch something I want if a somehow hear about (usually here) and to be honest I don't watch much at all anyway. I occasionally get an email from Netflix if a new season of something I've watched becomes available, but as far as new shows, I never know about them aside from as I say somewhere like PE. I also don't read magazines like Entertainment Weekly.
Some of the sites I peruse for news, nerd stuff, and information often post lists of what is coming and going on the streaming services each month. That's usually how I keep up.
