hahahahahaha so fuckin true man. We are so spoiled by binge watching, I can't do it any other way now lol. Also, when we're on one...we zone in till it's done. I admire some folks above who have a list of stuff they are watching. Can't do it. When we start a series we finish it...the only breaks coming when we decide to watch a movie some nights for a change of pace.

I tend to have 3 or 4 different things going at any one time, like right now it's:

The Last Kingdom- Watching with Barb

Ripper Street- each show is a stand alone story so I can stay away for a while and not be lost

The Fall- Drama I am watching on my own as it is too dark for Barb

Trailer Park Boys Season 11- I like to have at least one comedy show going to balance things out.

I won't start anything else until I finish any of these...

Too big a thread to go back & look, but have we talked about Showtime's Billions that just ended season 2 on Sunday. Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis & Malin Akerman star.

In my top 5 right now.

This has probably been discussed before - if so, I missed it--

Anyone else hooked on "The Americans"?

I've recorded this whole season, and am about to binge-watch the 8-or-so episodes stacked up on the DVR.

    I hope it's still decent...
    Regards,

We watched all of last season and loved this show. We only saw the first episode of the new season, but it's a priority now. We'll hopefully catch up soon.

About halfway through the second season, it's very good, though I pretty much hate all the characters.

So do I, except Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon), who is by far the most 2017 character on television and who kicks ass imo.

We are doing the same and just watched the first episode. The last scene of that episode is just...oh my god

The story lines are totally unbelievable, but it's very easy to suspend belief because the stories are bizarre, the characters are so good, and the humour is awesome. Enjoy buddy
Dude, I watched episode 1 last night ...I'm so in.

I watched the first season last year. I haven't decided if I wanted to continue on with it or not.

Was at a party this weekend, and that one was highly recommended by a few people, so it's been added to the list.

Just heard - apparently Last Man Standing has been cancelled by ABC. The story is that funding for the show was transferring to the network this year and ABC is owned by the very right wing Disney company. So no continuation for this very left wing show, even though it is their Friday night anchor and very profitable, even more so in syndication.

    It's a very conservative show?

^ Yeah, I've only seen it in syndication in the afternoon, but the Tim Allen character consistently presents a Conservative viewpoint. I would characterize it as Right Wing, not Left.

Definitely not a "Left Wing" show.

^ Settle down, o ye of the blunt head trauma. We were commenting more on the post than the show. However, there is some controversy around the cancellation, precisely because of the Left-Right issues.

Left/right, who cares. The best comedy on TV is still Archer.
