I used to be the same way, and would have continued, but growing up in NYC, I don't like having to drive to a concert, and as I mentioned the Counterparts tour is the last time they played in NYC , except for a few Radio City Music Hall shows where I just felt the tickets where too expensive at the time.
But they're finally coming back, and I want to take my son. Could be his one chance to see them. So I'll pay whatever it costs.
BTW, in one of Neil's books he dwells on how touring is financially important to a lot of crew and supporting folks, not just the three of them. So I think they'll continue doing live shows as long as they're able.
