Jacob Holm Lupo (White Willow) as a guest on the guitars!
Playing this now. Its very good. Shorter tunes but with incredible variety. Looking forward to fully absorb this one.

    Next up is Simon Steensland.

Alco Frisbass, The Nerve Institute & Simon Steensland are currently up on progstreaming (http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/index.php) so you can check out the full albums there. I've listened to all three and they sound outstanding, I'll be getting all 3.

I passed on Alco Frisbass on my last order but listening to progstreaming I realise this is a mistake. Will include it in the next one.

The Alco Frisbass is a really a lovely Album, some fine modern Canterbury and beyond stuff.
Heared that one in the car on a boring Highway trip, and it made the drive a pleasure.

The new Ciccada Album will also be out at the end of the month

I loved a child in the mirror. One of my favourite retro prog releases of the last few years. I somehow feel this will be hard to beat still the teaser sounds very promising. Love those horns!

You have their debut? It's a nice enough album, gentle folk rock (sounds like faint praise), I'll give the new one a proper listen when it's up on progstreaming but I have to say the cover artwork is pretty awful.

No - I've never heard of them before today. They clip above sounds more Ut Gret - woodwinds, acoustic guitars, female vocals. I enjoyed that little sample a great deal.

Ciccada's debut is a nice cross of Spirogyra's progressive folk and Canterbury. Recommended listen.

So far the best of the year for me. It will take something truly special to upstage it.
