We saw Marbin a while back at a bar in Charlotte. It was a great show, but sadly only about 6 people were there to hear the band play. The rest of the crowd drank heavily and yucked it up loudly during the entire performance. It was sad to see such a terrific band be so disrespected, but I'm guessing that is not uncommon for acts that play such venues. I'm guessing it bothered us more than it did the band, because they seemed to be having a pretty good time. I'm spoiled by the reverence with which acts are treated at most festivals and at a place like Orion. How's the planning of that winter prog festival coming along? Marbin should be invited to perform.

I hope we can catch the band on this tour, but Raleigh on a Tuesday night won't be easy.

Saw them open for Holdsworth a few years back...very high energy fun band.
