Are we just discussing Oblivion Sun then? I quite like them, especially the 'High Places' suite, which takes up half of their last album. Great piece of music.
Big fan - I admit to liking the first OS release better, I think the music is stronger. Hoping these guys continue to work together and release music.

Any news on future Oblivion Sun or HTM related music?
The latest news on the OS-website was that Frank took some time off to deal with some health-issues, while Stan worked on a solo-EP. Maybe Bill P. has some more news.
All my prayers to Frank that he gets the issues settled. Bill Plummer is the main reason I prefer the debut. His synth playing on that is fantastic. I was sad to see him exit OS.

I like the first Oblivion Sun record as much as the first two HtM records!
Did anyone buy Frank Wyatt's book "Oblivion Sun: A Collection Of Poems"? It was published by Far Gone Books in 2000 and has a cover by Kit Watkins. There's indeed a poem called "Oblivion Sun" in it, but also titles like "Dan's Song", "Toward Merlin" and "A Certain Whisper".
I heard Frank has posted something on his Facebook-site today concerning his health. Didn't sound good.

Well, I haven't a facebookaccount, so I can't check, but this was what he wrote (of course it's possible this was written earlier on):
"I was poked, prodded, scanned, scanned again, sonic bombarded,
interviewed and examined all day, and finally it's official. I was
accepted into the Checkmate 214 Trial at Hopkins, and randomized into
the "A" arm, which means I will be getting the experimental drugs, and
at least a chance now to beat this cancer crap in me.

As far as I can tell, his last post is from July.
But I agree it didn't sound good.
