Somehow I get the feeling it's going to be a short lived thread. This version of the band is so different than anything that came after and it's been years since I played it. All comments welcome.

I think it sits fairly well with other "vintage discoveries" of US 70s progressive rock, although it obviously is very different from the stupendous refinements of the later, "classic" HtM sound.
A couple of the tracks drag on a bit and move a bit too slowly for their own good, though. But stuff like "Leave That Kitten" already point to an embryonic version of the HtM we would get to know.

"[...] things that we never dreamed of doing in Crimson or in any band that I've been in," - Tony Levin speaking of SGM
A band searching for something different and unique to be sure.
Aw, they look so young and cute, I just want to pinch their cheeks.

Plasmatopia: Maybe a song in D minor that has never been played?
bob_32_116: That would be a terrific triple bill: Cyan, Magenta and Yello.
