Those Danish progsters in 1971 must have been well ahead of the times with an album title like that! First official remaster.

Sanguine Hum, Fields and the Byrd/FH are autobuys for me. And perhaps the Kestrel if there's bonus material that's worth it (I've already got the Korean edition).

The Leonard's Iceberg albums are quite good, but I've got the vinyls. Is this the first time these are released on CD?

I am loving the Sky and Sky 2 reissues with video content. What a great band I would love to have seen live. Looking forward to receiving 3 and 4 in the next few weeks, and will be ordering Mozart and Balloon Race as well, and 5Live.

I have the CD reissue of Rupert Hine's "Immunity", which does have a sound problem at the beginning of "I Hang On To My Vertigo", so I'll get this new compilation if it has that track and "Samsara". I also have the CD reissue of "American Metaphysical Circus", which sounds pretty good already, but would be worth a sonic upgrade since it's a great album.

So 2 new songs and 4 alternate tracks on the Kestrel. Sounds good, I really like that album too. Never heard of it 'til a few years ago.

The Sanguine Hum clips sound amazing. Of course I liked their last album a lot too.

The first band I ever saw live: Melbourne Concert Hall, early 80s, I was about 13 years old. They had a guest keyboard player I'd never heard of by the name of Rick Wakeman.

I'm very happy Esoteric are doing a quality release of their catalogue. The first two CDs are great. Looking forward to the rest.

I knew there was a reason I kept holding off buying The Geese and The Ghost. To hear this in 5.1 will no doubt be quite the treat.

Rupert Hine-The Wildest Wish To Fly. Is this a prog album or something else?

Would love a 5.1 version of Geese and the Ghost, but at $43 US it ain't happening. Serves me right for living on this side of the pond, eh?

The Australian Sky tour with Rick Wakeman as guest was in 1985, after the departure of John Williams...

It's a great album. Don't know about your question, though.
rcarlberg: Is there anything sadder than a song that has never been played?
Plasmatopia: Maybe a song in D minor that has never been played?

bob_32_116: That would be a terrific triple bill: Cyan, Magenta and Yello.

trurl: The Odyssey: "He's trying to get home."

OT: I got a similar thing (but then from US to Europe) when I lately wanted to order the green glow-in-the-dark vinyl from Contact. (=Zombi). Album costs $ 20, yet shipping (cheapest, slow) $ 18,50. Shipping rates are killing us. Can't a good price fighter jump into this market? Clearly inventing some Budget Shipping isn't rocket science?

Maybe one day I'll start Progstreaming Distribution (I'll let you know) :P

A one-piece box with a hinged lid, as opposed to a separate lid that lifts off.

Haha - I made that same observation years ago in a review. Nice to see this title again and I'll be buying it. The Repertoire CD has been out of print for over 22 years now.

It's pop at its core -- vocal forward, with the music and production in support of the song, largely synthetic with very few distorted guitars (if any -- I'm listening to it right now, and I haven't heard any for the three songs I've chosen). It's extremely intelligently written and well produced, if you don't mind the dated sound ("Firefly in the Night" reminds me of "Somebody" by Depeche Mode, for example).
