Thinking Plague - Jan 15th show

Anyone going? Anyone know of any live recordings that might come down the road in the future? New material being played? Etc... I wish I could make it up there for the show from Texas! I wanna hear them live in person at least once in my life.

There is a strong possibility of at least one new song being played. I know Mike has been writing feverishly. The new material kills too.

Hopefully, there will be some video of the show. I'd love to see the Shift live too (i wonder if Robin will be playing with them).

I'm sorry i won't be able to make it either. But i'll be cheering my peeps on from the peanut gallery here, for sure
And the code is a play, a play is a song, a song is a film, a film is a dance...

Although we have been working on performing some of the new material, sadly it's not ready for primetime just yet. We have limited rehearsal time, and must decide bewteen polishing or learning new material. With our material, as PolyPet will confirm, it's never finally "learned" and you're done. You have to keep it rehearsed.

Thank you for the info! I love the band so much - I almost abandoned the wife and kids and did a road trip to see ya! Oh well... I guess I cant be that wreckless.

Yeah, Mike - it's true. It's plenty of work just keeping the current repetoire fresh in one's mind. Adding new material is a whole nother ball o' wax.

Still, it IS true that the new material is going to be killer (three thumbs up)

Well, in the interest of saving your marriage , we're doing another show in Denver on Sat. April 25th. Perhaps you can drive up! We had a fellow drive up from Texas for this last show. It's a kinda DIY performance space. Star Period Star (from Savanagh via Chicago) will be opening. They don't have it on their calendar yet (?): https://www.facebook.com/SeventhCircleMusicCollective

Hot damn! I'll have to plan this one out and make it happen. It's not a bad drive up there --- only gets far more gorgeous with each passing mile as I LEAVE TEXAS. lol
