As soon as I get a little extra cash, the Kaiser/Russell and Soft Machine releases are must-haves.

My discs arrived yesterday. Finally got to spin half of Schnellertollermeier on my morning commute. Holy smokes! This one is for you Guapo, Swans, Sonar fans. Heavy, angular, and somehow groovy all at once. Plus the track "Riot" sounds like something Beefheart might have done had he continued to live and make music in the 21st century. Get it!!

Received the CD/DVD of Soft Machine at Montreux via MoonJune Records today. Outstanding job putting this together. According to the liner notes they had to take multiple sources and blend them together. I think this is $25 well spent. Thank you Cunieform and MoonJune. Never knew Holdsworth ever sang on a recording

Listen to the preview of the 6th track, "At the Edge".

I just watched the DVD. Great stuff.
In over an hour of playing, nobody ever so much as cracked a smirk.
