Steve Reich is indeed an influence so it seems, although the sample is more melodic. Some of the sounds remind me of Scott Johnson's soundtrack for "Patty Hearst", which was played by amongst others Philip Glass-keyboardplayer Michael Riesman.

Borden is mentioned a couple of times in the wonderful book "Analog Days - The Invention And Impact Of The Moog Synthesizer"

Looks like all these tracks can be found on Cuneiform releases. Are these different recordings?

Excellent! I was just listening to the Mother Mallard and the Continuing Story of Counterpoint albums, just a couple weeks ago. In fact, it's my second to most recent playlist on Tidal.

Plasmatopia: Maybe a song in D minor that has never been played?

bob_32_116: That would be a terrific triple bill: Cyan, Magenta and Yello.

trurl: The Odyssey: "He's trying to get home."

The CD arrived today! I thought it was a March-release. Anyway, impressive minimal music for Mini-Moog, RMI Piano and Modular Moog.
