    Hi there,

    Now here's something for the weekend*:

    * Lonely Robot - Please Come Home

    Lonely Robot of course is John Mitchell, who you might (or should, depending on your knowledge of Prog) know from Arena, It Bites, Kino, you name it.

    It is awesome. You should buy it. On CD, LP or digital. At least your should HEAR it. It's streaming for 2 weeks now on your favorite site.

    Enjoy the music!

    http://www.progstreaming.com
    http://www.facebook.com/progstreaming
    http://twitter.com/progstreaming

    * rights reserved by the great new special by DPRP, who often features Progstreaming-streams. You can find their weekly 'streaming'-blog here: http://weekendprog.blogspot.fr/. All hail to them!

    Hi there,

    We got a lot new, amazing stuff, from literally all around the world (you'll find South-Africa, Ireland, Latvia, Israel, and even Syria in this update):

    * Not A Good Sign - From A Distance (AltrOck/Fading) > feat. members of Ske and La Coscienza Di Zeno!
    * Ubi Maior - Incanti Bio Meccanici (BTF)
    * M-Opus - 1975 Triptych
    * Zero Stroke - As The Colours Seep EP (limited edition CD or digital ('name your price'))
    * Wasaya - Garden of Doubts (digital, from Syria, only $5)
    * The Mighty Beard - Blue God and Other Stories (CD or digital)
    * Margaritas Ante Porcos - Gluposti (digital ('name your price') and limited stock CD, from Latvia)
    * Glenn Thomson - Memory Babe (Musea) CD/DL
    * En.Tsfauna - Play Your Game (digital or limited stock CD, fom Israel)

    Also:

    * There's a brand new edition of the only monthly ProgChart this world has. You can find it here: http://www.progressivechart.com, and we also want you to like our Facebook, which is here: http://www.facebook.com/progressivechart.
    * Please support all the bands you listen to. Note that often the downloads are way cheaper than the original, but often the same or even better quality.
    * Follow the small red links to visit the band or the labels website.
    * Support our sponsors Just for Kicks, Beyond Rock, BTF and Kinesis. They help to keep these sites afloat. Progstreaming guarantees your satisfied with their service!
    * Buy stuff at Amazon. Click on of our links first, for we then get a percentage. No matter what you buy. We're still waiting for musicians to buy their precious and expensive instruments at Amazon! A shame they don't sell cars or houses (or countries) at Amazon!
    * Click a Google add once every day, just for fun. But only if you like the advert, of course, for otherwise mr. Google will look funny to me. And we do not want that.

    Enjoy the music!

    Hi there,

    Frustrated as we were about the available Light Coorporation-albums, Progstreaming has made a special Bandcamp-page for the band. So that's why we revisit and bring to you:

    * Light Coorporation - Chapter IV, Before The Murmur Of Silence
    At Progstreaming: http://www.progstreaming.com

    * Light Coorporation - About
    * Light Coorporation - Aliens From Planet Earth
    * Light Coorporation - Rare Dialect
    At Progstreaming Classic: http://www.progstreamingclassic.com

    You already know you want to purchase them? Visit the Bandcamp directly at http://lightcoorporation.bandcamp.com/merch. CDs are all € 12, downloads (all possible formats, also lossless) 6 or 7 euros.
    You want us to make your Bandcamp too? Ask our conditions.

    It's a bit jazz. But most prog-fans will very much like it. If you do, please 'like' the releases, tweet about them, and tell your uncle with that awesome collection of jazz-albums.

    Enjoy the music!

    One funny fact:
    "The Mighty Bard" [sic] feature a certain Neil Cockle who was the very first keyboardist (and founding member] of Marillion!

    Hi there!

    Today we've got some amazing stuff for you to discover:

    * Blueneck - King Nine (one week only!)
    * Odin's Court - Turtles All the Way Down
    * Edenial - Innerpretations
    * VOLA - Inmazes
    * Inior - Hypnerotomachia
    * Peter Swart - The Couch
    * Eternal Journey - Nebula
    * Whitewater - Obscured By The Sun

    Last weekend we also had a big Light Coorporation-special, with their newest album at Progstreaming, and their excellent back-catalogue on Progstreaming Classic. Do check it out!

    Also:
    - Please buy the stuff we stream. This service only works if when you discover something worthwhile, you click a Amazon MP3 or Bandcamp-link, and for just a few dollars or euros you will have it instantly. Or you follow our most trusted partners at Just for Kicks, Beyond Rock, BTF or Kinesis, and you'll have the CD or LP cheap and as fast as possible. If you've never tried one of them, today's the day! Progstreaming guarantees your satisfaction.
    - Click our Amazon-links on the pages, and then buy something. We get a percentage no matter what you buy. Need a new drumkit or an electric cello anyway? Or a new device? Or just some books on paper? We as Progstreaming get on average 5% of whatever you buy. It pays the bills, so please don't forget.
    - Don't forget to vote for your favorite current prog top 5 at Progressive Chart, that's www.progressivechart.com.

    And finally, a surprise:

    Progstreaming will be a weekly feature in DPRP Radio. Every Tuesday a new show will be right here: http://dprpradio.podbean.com/. Bookmark that, and listen whenever you want. There's going to be a 'Progstreaming Weekly Pick' every week. This week I've chosen one track. Curious what track? Tune in!
    Want to do a 'Weekly Pick' too? E-mail us at progstreaming@gmail.com and tell us your choice and why. It has to be a current, running stream though.

    Enjoy the music!

    Many recently that have grabbed my attention. Sad that Blueneck is already gone...

    VOLA - Inmazes really has me now. 99% of my collection is physical, but I may have to add to my digital music collection. Too bad it's not available in CD.

Go 'like' that too at http://www.facebook.com/progstreamingclassic. And finally, Indie Streaming is just taken off and already has some 1100+ likes. Hi there,

    Today we have three specials:

    Taylor's Universe-special:
    * Taylor's Universe - From Scratch
    Because Progstreaming has designed a brand new Bandcamp-page for Taylor's Universe, we've bumped this up. Here's that brand new Bandcamp: https://robintaylorsuniverse.bandcamp.com/. Go buy the digital download (€ 7!) or de CD (€12) right now, because when the Bandcamp is a success we'll add the rest of their discography. "From Scratch" is a tremendous introduction to his great music. If 70's progressive jazz-rock ever had its traditions, Taylor's Universe is a contemporary continuation!

    Seasonal-special:
    * Seasonal - Loneliness Manual (at http://www.progstreaming.com) < available thru Lynx Music on CD and thru Bandcamp at all digital formats
    * Seasonal - In Difference (at http://www.progstreamingclassic.com) < free diwnload!
    * Seasonal - Noises And Clicks (at http://www.progstreamingclassic.com) < free diwnload!
    We're in love with the sounds this young guy makes. It's a bit postrock, yet more gentle. It reminds of a mix between Explosions In The Sky and Pink Floyd's better parts of the soundtrack "More". It would be wrong reading this sentence and then neglecting this blurb. Ha, gotcha, now you HAVE to listen to it.

    State Urge-special:
    * State Urge - Confrontation (at http://www.progstreaming.com) < their awesome new album, out now on Lynx Music!
    * State Urge - White Rock Experience (at http://www.progstreamingclassic.com) < Bandcamp says only 3 remaining copies on CD!
    Well, what can I say. Another Polish band that's stuffed with talent and great hooks. This band playing white rock (what's that? He who knows the answer, e-mail Progstreaming!) will do it in stadiums soon, if this is a fair world (...) Anyway, You should give it a chance. You'll sing-along some songs before the day ends.

    Go follow us on Facebook. And if you already have, please visit it now here: http://www.facebook.com/progstreaming, find the spot that says 'invite your friends' and then click all your progrock-friends. I'm sure they don't mind discovering new progrock every day. Plus we're trying to reach 20,000 likes before the Summer. That's quite a task!

    Enjoy the music!

    Hi all!

    First, I'm of course extremely satisfied and proud for that 'Have A Sigar'-interview in the Camel-edition (no less) of latest PROG Magazine. It's an honour, but thanks goes to all the listeners that take the trouble to click something they've never heard before, or vaguely read about, ending up buying it. Tremendous thanks also to all the bands and all those great, dedicated labels we progrock-fans have. And finally, a big 'thank-you' to Ron Kraaijkamp, without whom none of this was possible.

    Onward now, with:

    * Grand Tour - Heavy On The Beach > feat. ex-members of Abel Ganz and Comedy Of Errors
    * Klone - Here Comes The Sun (Pelagic)
    * Forgotten Suns - When Worlds Collide (Premiere Music)
    * Blurred Vision - Organized Insanity (Cherry Red) > touring with Uriah Heep; stream for 2 weeks only!
    * Arcane Atlas - Constellation Plus
    * Exovex - Radio Silence > feat. members of Porcupine Tree, Nine Inch Nails and Steely Dan!
    * Zaria - Po Poti Zivljenja
    * Different Strings - The Sounds Of Silence Part II, The Counterfeits (Progdome)
    * Rick Miller - Breaking Point
    * Habelard2 - Il Ritorno Del Gallo Cedrone > member of Ad Maiora; remake of 1990-cassette.
    * Napier's Bones - Tregeagle's Choice > free download!
    * I Will Kill Chita - Evil Bear Boris > also at Indie Streaming (http://indiemusicstreaming.com)
    All these at Progstreaming, at http://www.progstreaming.com.

    There's some heavy AND gentle stuff at Classical Streaming (http://www.classicalstreaming.com) too, that a lot of you might enjoy a lot:

    * M.C. Schmidt - Batu Malablab - Music for prepared piano, flute and electronics (Knock 'em Dead) > solo-album by member of Matmos, out on CD and limited LP, received a 7.8 at Pitchfork.
    * David Franklin - Playing With Shadows > feat. Michael Manring

    * Apoteosi - Apoteosi (BTF) > CD (luxury 'Minisleeve' edition), LP (black or transparant, both limited)

    Also:

    * Support us by actually buying the stuff we stream, click all our adds, like our Facebooks, follow us on Twitter, and just regularly tell others about your great finds at our streaming sites!
    * Also, buy stuff at Amazon, by first clicking one of our buttons. We get a percentage no matter what you buy. We're still waiting for someone to buy something REALLY expensive (like a house, or a car, or an electric double bass).
    * Give us feedback, things you like, or don't like. We can then make our sites even better.

    Enjoy the music!

    Hi there!

    You thought we were gone? Far from it!

    First, we have a new one at Progstreaming:

    * Ossicles - Mantelpiece > out now on Karisma Records (Airbag, Bjorn Riis, Magic Pie, Seven Impale)
    * Eddie Mulder - Dreamcatcher > first solo-album of this member of Flamborough Head and Leap Day

    Also, we've been working day and night on this brand new site, called All Streaming.
    Here's the address for you to visit and bookmark: http://allstreaming.nl
    And please also give a 'like' to our Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/allstreaming.nl and follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/allstreaming_nl. It's much appreciated.

    So, what's the difference?

    The main difference is that All Streaming will feature not only progrock, but also singer-songwriter, alternative rock, electronic music, jazz, metal, just ordinary rock, and you'll find even the new Europe, the solo-album by the singer of Men At Work (Colin Hay), the new Muse, the new Heather Nova, the new Mumford & Sons. But also the new Anekdoten, the Ayreon-related project The Gentle Storm, and stuff that's previously been on Progstreaming, Indie Streaming and Metal Streaming.

    But the other difference some of you may not like is that you'll need Spotify to listen to it. This has come forth from something we can't help, and it makes sense in a certain way. Let me explain.

    When Progstreaming started in 2011 we were basically one of the first that were bold enough to stream an entire album. Spotify was still a Swedish cabinet of rarities and Bandcamp was just on the market too. Since then, times have changed tremendously. Although Progstreaming offers to pay copyright too (to in our disclaimer it says we rather see them waive it, because promotion), most of bigger labels were reluctant to let Progstreaming stream a certain album, because of the revenu that Spotify - and other full-time-streaming companies - brought in, how little it may be.
    That's not to say labels and artists didn't appreciate the service we provide, nor that they didn't understand the difference between short-time 'free' promotional streaming and paid-for 'eternal' streaming, but fact was, labels pulled out and the demand dried up. Especially with Indie Streaming we've noticed it became tiresome.

    So that's why we thought about 'why not change our own player with a Spotify-widget'. Here's why we think it's a good idea:

    * It's still good promotion. We think that many people use Spotify to decide if they want to buy something. That's why we divided the buttons between CD, LP and download.
    * Since Spotify has a free version, curious people can still decide to play a certain track.
    * If you dislike Spotify, clearly All Streaming isn't for you. That's alright too. Move over. We won't try to persuade or convince you. Then again, do visit the site once a week to see what's new out there, make notes, and find yourself other ways to listen to it. Many bands have their own Youtube-channel, or a Soundcloud or Bandcamp ready for you.

    All in all, we hope you like it. And of course, we strongly hope you will stick to the physical stuff, and we think All Streaming is the best way to buy your Vinyl, if you're into that. We've noticed that Amazon (.com, .de and .co.uk) is quite cheap compared to others. Don't be afraid of the two Dutch suppliers. Bol.com is Dutch and the reason why Amazon is reluctant to enter the Dutch market, which I think says enough. They got an office with hundreds of full-time employers. Sounds Delft is from my hometown, and comes with a 1000 guarantees. You can even call them, because it's a regular shop. If ever one of you comes to visit Delft, I'll show you the store, and we'll drink a cup of coffee afterward, on my treat.

    How's that for service!

    If you got questions, ask. Next update I will point out some VERY interesting All Streaming features that will appeal to progrock-fans.

    Now go like www.facebook.com/allstreaming.nl, pretty please.

    Enjoy the music!

    Is Progstreaming staying as is? I don't know if this "free streaming" business plan works overall for all labels, but I can guarantee they have made more money from me because of it. I've bought so many CDs that I never would have heard or even heard of because of this site.

    Me to, although it can work the other way too, helping me avoid buying stuff I don't and won't like.

    Hi there,

    Today we have:

    * William D Drake - Revere Reach > Out on Onomatopoeia on CD, LP and all digital formats (MP3, lossless, whatever you want, on Bandcamp). It's also on All Streaming (http://allstreaming.nl).

    Many people worried that Progstreaming will stop, despite my lengthy explanation yesterday. It won't. Will it run slower? We'll see. It all depends on the supply and demand. Of course, I will continue to promote Progstreaming, Metal Streaming and probably Indie Streaming too. My hope is that bands and labels will not only like All Streaming, but also appreciate the 'niche' (well, 1600 visitors a day, if you must know) attention we all together generate with the streaming sites. That's strong free publicity many labels and PR agencies crave for.

    So, don't worry. But you all need to listen to these albums at All Streaming. If you don't have Spotify, or dislike it for some reason, Google them, on search them on Youtube. Then buy them following my neat Amazon-buttons over at All Streaming.

    * The Unthanks - Mount the Air (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...nt%20The%20Air)
    * The Amazing - Picture You (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...0Picture%20You)
    * Kristin McClement - The Wild Grips (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...20Wild%20Grips)
    * Marriages - Salome (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...s%20-%20Salome)
    * Anekdoten - Until All the Ghosts Are Gone (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...s%20Are%20Gone)
    * Kamasi Washington - The Epic (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...-%20The%20Epic)
    * Flo Morrissey - Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful (http://allstreaming.nl/pages/play-al...Be%20Beautiful)

    Enjoy the music!

    I've noticed how some of the albums on All Streaming have an additional player besides the Spotify player. What determines if that's available? I've only been streaming the ones that have the extra player because I don't have a desire to sign up for Spotify.
