    Some Fun Music Videos...

Yes, I'm in a zillion weird bands, but I also enjoy making short movies. I haven't done so in the past few years (kinda busy) but here's a scrappy one from 2009 that I'm proud of and I would like it to get more attention. This one was filmed entirely by me - I got up one Saturday morning at 7am and thought "I want to make a music video" and by noon I was already home with all this footage (including hiking many miles and setting up all the shots Survivorman-style) and editing it all together. Some people might recognize that I repurposed some of this footage for miRthkon...

Anyway... here you go - and who says dropped beatsand polytonality and quintuplets can't be catchy?

If you like that sort of thing, there's other videos (mostly silly music-related ones) at my YouTube channel (which I hope to dust off and fill up with new stuff in 2015):

Also, if you are into any of these tunes, they are available (mostly for free) at my bandcamp page:

    Thanks for reading this far!!

Nice. Just a walk in the woods -- with a surprise ending!

Great stuff - yet again! And great fun as well.

Perhaps you should do a full solo album as well? Little time for that, I suppose...

Thanks! And I do have about a dozen solo albums of widely differing scopes and sizes and aesthetics, and working on several currently (to be completed in 2015, hopefully).

For example, this video's tune is on this album: http://mattlebofsky.bandcamp.com/album/sea

Thank you! And that's not Lake Chabot but very close. The footage was entirely shot in the both Tilden and Oakland's Redwood park. That lake is actually the San Pablo Reservoir as seen from the Rotary Peace Grove lookout. But I do know Lake Chabot well...
