    Steely Dan Dictionary

Not sure if this has been posted on here before:

If it has I apologize. Some pretty cool stuff on the site, though I'm not sure some of his definitions are correct.

But now I know what the Custerdome is.
Eric: "What the hell Hutch, it's all Rush, what if we wanted a little variety?"

Hutch: "Rush is variety, Bitch! Rule number one: in my van, its Rush! All Rush, all the time...no exceptions."

Holy (black)cow!!! If ever there was a band who needed their own dictionary it's Steely Dan although I suppose King Crimson and PG era Genesis could benefit from one as well( unifaun anyone?). I've never been that big into the Dan(I think they are a good example of a band who aren't sure if they want to be a jazz band or pop/rock band or both). That said I have started to warm up to them somewhat over the years.

As expected, the Squonk is there along with a reference to Genesis. Bravo!
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
