    My Geezerette Is Gone

I know this is the main board, but Kay had a lot of friends here that would want to know this so I cheated.

Kay passed away shortly after midnight last night from complications (COPD, Asthma & Emphysema) from pneumonia. She had been in declining health for several weeks, but no one, incl all her vast medical team anticipated this and thought she would bounce back again like she did in 2013.

I will still be going to Rosfest because I know that's what she would want, but I won't be a nun or a punker chick.

    She was 69.

Lots of tears, and they ain't done.

Ah, Steve. I'm so sorry. I had the brief pleasure of meeting you and Kay (who could forget that nun costume!) at whichever ROSFest that was, and I just remember how fun you both were. Condolences, sympathies, and good vibes being sent your way.

Yikes that sucks. I never met her (or you) but having lost five members of my own family (including two dogs) in the past 3 years I know the grief that loss brings. It hurts. It hurts bad.

Oh my God Steve...I am so very sorry. I think we may have met once or twice at ROSFest or NEARFest (maybe BajaProg?)...but even if not, I feel I knew you and Kay through PE. I know the two of you were soul-mates. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Try to keep good thoughts of her in your mind to ease the pain.

Steve, Ana and I are so, so sorry to hear this. Kay was such a wonderful, special lady, and among other memories, I will always cherish the two days that the three of us spent in Paris having dinner, going to a jazz club, visiting the Palace of Versailles, and just hanging out and laughing and having a great time.

I love you, man. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there.

    Neil
