Spotify have their own playlist of least-played tracks -- mostly spoken word pieces.
Is there anything sadder than a song that has never been played?
I visited that site briefly. The first piece that played was not actually all that bad - something from Pakistan. After that there was something dreadful from India that sounded like a nursery rhyme.
There is a kind of horrible fascination with that site. It's possible to feel sorry for a song that has never been played - but when you do play it and hear it, sometimes the sympathy disappears and you think it would have been better if it had retained its "never played" status.I'd say you're unlikely to find your lost prog masterpiece on that site.

I thought this was going to be a thread about a former president's vocabulary.

According to Nigel, D minor is the saddest of all keys
Marty DiBergi: It's very pretty.
Nigel Tufnel: Yeah, I've been fooling around with it for a few months.
Marty DiBergi: It's a bit of a departure from what you normally play.
Nigel Tufnel: It's part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I'm working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find. People weep instantly when they hear it, and I don't know why.
Marty DiBergi: It's very nice.
Nigel Tufnel: You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really. It's sort of...
Marty DiBergi: What do you call this?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".

I love spotify.
Well we now know someone who doesn't have a sense of humour....
IT WAS A JOKE!!!! I challenge you to find ONE place where I inserted my political opinion.
I do not belong to any political party and have voted across the spectrum. I vote for issues not parties. I apologize if you think I was trying to political, but actually you are the one who has done that. Lighten up, Ann Coulter. I make jokes about democratic presidents also (but I'm sure to you that would be acceptable.).

You have to admit, D-minor makes more sense.
Besides, I prefer E flat, myself.

Plasmatopia: Maybe a song in D minor that has never been played?
bob_32_116: That would be a terrific triple bill: Cyan, Magenta and Yello.
trurl: The Odyssey: "He's trying to get home."
Nigel says it's in D minor and that's what his fingers also seem to play, however if you watch it on TV/DVD/Bluray in Europe it's actually in E flat due to different frame rate. Confused me for a while when I tried to play my piano along to the movie.
