    New Live VDGG 2CD

    From Burning Shed

"Van Der Graaf Generator Merlin Atmos (various formats pre-orders)
Featuring VDGG's definitive epic A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers and Peter Hammill's equally ambitious side long piece Flight, Merlin Atmos is arguably the best live album in the history of this legendary band.
A stunning musical statement from a still stunningly innovative band, the limited edition double cd digipak version features a 70 minute bonus CD also recorded on the band's 2013 European tour (including classics such as Scorched Earth, Man-Erg and Meurglys III).
The single disc limited vinyl edition comprises only Flight and A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers.

    Pre-order for 2nd February 2015 release.

    What shows are featured?
I hope some of Berlin and Prague as I attended them and they were brilliant...

We don't have it up on the website yet but I will know in next 2 weeks if this will havea USA release as well. With MVD , it's likely Wayside or Lasers Edge will have it too, so at the moment hold off if you are in the USA.

If you want vinyl though I would order from Burning Shed now , as that may be limited.

Please don't ask questions, just use google.

A no-brainer for sure, but I don't need to order it yet. I can wait until at least the new year.

Yup. There's a couple of other things I've been meaning to pick up from Esoteric, so I guess I'll just put in one big order in January or so.

Went to the Sofasound page today and noticed this was available, so I've ordered the 2-CD edition. Nothing was mentioned about a specific release date or a "pre" order, so we'll see if it shows up sooner rather than later!

The opening post mentions a Feb 2 release date, though I suppose that could have changed.

Right, I just meant there was nothing listed on Sofasound about a release date.

Anyone knows what specific gigs are being featured?
Will it be written on the CDs themselves or kept a secret?
