Yeah, pretty much! And I fall into the “love them” camp, thanks to some help from chalkpie, zombiewoof, and some of the other fine folks here.

Glad to hear you’re enjoying them! There’s a long-running thread about them here on PE. Please stop in and share your experiences!

Here’s the link in case you haven’t seen it already:

BBT really hit their stride around 2009 with The Underfall Yard, in my opinion. They had good music before that, but when David Longdon joined it was like they jumped up to a whole other tier. Some of their recent releases haven’t moved me as much, but all of them have some worthwhile music on them. They really nail that pastoral English sound, most closely associated with groups like Genesis back in the 70s — although perhaps more rustic.

If I were to recommend a place to start, I’d say both of the English Electric albums are really solid. If you haven’t already heard them.

Along with Three Ragas, this was the first Shankar I got hold of. And it's still the one I pull out most often, i.e. every 11th year or so.

If you like The Comet Is Coming, these guys hit a lot of the same territory with a more laid back vibe.
