This sounds so strange to me, I hear Bowie's vocals I hear him singing his vocals, I do is this not him? This must be him, it is him? This is so strange, but even so I like this, I am not sure what to think of it, really not, but I like this, it feels like a remix but with bowie original vocals, not nearly as good as the original but enjoying this nonetheless the auto 80's synths kill me tho' xxxx
Your better half btw is hot!!!
The novelty wore off now and I don't like it much anymore this xxxx
I'm just the pieces of the man I used to be
Too many bitter tears are raining down on me
I'm far away from home
And I've been facing this alone
For much too long
I feel like no one ever told the truth to me
About growing up and what a struggle it would be
In my tangled state of mind
I've been looking back to find
Where I went wrong....

"Dem Glücklichen legt auch der Hahn ein Ei."
That song came out on Brian May's first solo album (if you don't count "The Starfleet Project," which was mostly a jam with Eddie Van Halen), "Back to the Light" three years before it appeared on Queen's "Made in Heaven." I like his version better, partially because one tends to like the version you hear first the most, but also because as great a singer as Freddie was, sometimes I'd rather hear Brian sing, especially on his own tunes. Here's a live version:
From the same album, the most Queen-like tune; love the guitar solo!

Where has this band been hiding? I recently heard them compared to Prefab Sprout and that was all I needed to sample them. Yes! Exquisite!

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

We're trying to build a monument to show that we were here
It won't be visible through the air
And there won't be any shade to cool the monument to prove that we were here. - Gene Parsons, 1973

Always delightful to listen to Kristian Zimerman, one of my favourite pianists!
