I have had this concert as a boot for decades, and IMO Halsall is better than Holdsy all the way here.
I has been issued legit (?) as a double CD http://www.discogs.com/Tempest-Under.../master/799122 but since its oop the price has gone through the roof.

I'll admit, I'm not too familiar with Halsall's playing. I have the Tempest album he's on, but I haven't listened to it much. I'll have to dig it out! Just from that little bit, I'd imagine he and Holdsy influenced each other. What's really interesting to me is hearing Allan bending strings and playing something resembling rock... stuff that he entirely weeded out of his playing shortly thereafter. They both had pretty shitty, thin tones on that live bit, but man, they were shredding!

AFAIK in Tempest Holdsy played an ES 335 on a vox amp and Halsall an SG through a Marshall.
I think Halsall played this very fast & fluent legato style before Holdsy, but he is less controlled and more intuitive. Money Bag 1970 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u54w0ALhcDQ
