Xenakis-Percussion Music.I've heard some music by Xenakis over the years and generally found it too dense and clotted.I recently heard some of his percussion music on WKCR-FM and i was intrigued. I bought a 3-cd set of Xenakis percussion works on Mode and i find most of the pieces fascinating, as well as accessible.There is a rhythmic vitality here that draws me in.Here's a clip of one such percussion composition from the Mode cd.
