    Duello Madre - Same (1973).

"Excellent Italian jazz rock album with a surprising intro. The first two minutes are pleasantly folky in the style of Celeste, but from there on it is great jazz rock all the way. Soft Machine influences are evident on the first track. At other times elements of Nucleus, Isotope, or even Frank Zappa can be heard. Duello Madre have a dark, brooding sound at times.
There are almost no keyboards to be heard, but with a guitar, flute/sax, bass, and drums line up they manage get a full sound" (Gnosis´site)

    Agree!!.

Found a copy at the library. Not sure I'll make it all the way through the 3 discs. It's an overblown production. The Ten Commandments of jazz.

Sometimes less is more. But it's all a matter of taste.
