Tragic Songs of Life by the Louvin Brothers
I've known about this country gospel duo ever since I latched onto The Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo in 1968, but never heard anything by themselves. Figured, after almost 50 years, I should hear what I've been missing. Holy lord! Are these guys wonderful. Harmonies like I've never heard. And some pretty awful things about which they sing. Great stuff!
