Never thought I'd utter such a statement, but February can't come soon enough.

I think Wilson is on to another winner with the concept, his use of female vocalist, choir and influence of Kate Bush's The Dreaming.

    Thanks for the update.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

His solo material has knocked me out. I am a big Porcupine Tree fan, but I have to admit that I find his solo albums much more interesting

For my money, nobody in modern progressive music is making more interesting, yet accessible music than Steven Wilson. The guy is the absolute best that the current Prog scene has to offer.

Presume this means SW will have a female vocalist on tour. Would love to hear Significant Other live.

^^It will be interesting to see. I wonder how he'd handle the choir as well. The soloist, God what a beautiful voice, i wonder how he'll handle him as well. Taped i would imagine? I watched the two videos again last night, this album looks to be killer, I can't wait.

Whether the new album turns out to be brilliant or a stinker, nobody can accuse him of musical stagnation.

Also, good to know that there's no serial killer theme here - though he can never seem to get away from themes that are slightly sinister.
