Some really good ones mentioned. Back in the day when I used to listen to a lot of music through ear phones I found certain albums were amazing to listen to that way. Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland, Tales from Topographic Oceans, A Wizard A True Star, all mentioned were great ones to listen to that way.

Am I wrong or was Pink Floyd's The Wall NOT issued in 5.1 a few years ago when the big box sets came out? It would seem a natural to hear that way. Maybe The Lamb also.

Some of the early Spirit albums would probably be a good trip in 5.1

How about Hawkwind's Space Ritual, especially if they could restore the bits that were edited out of Time We Left and Brainstorm.

You're right. It was the reason for me not to buy it.

Pretty much anything by Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Rush, ELP or the Flower Kings. Ok, maybe not the later ELP.

Actually "Birdy" would be nice in 5.1 also

When I bought my SACD-DVD-player I first thought all SACD were in 5.1, so when I bought Peter Gabriel IV (the Security-album) on SACD I didn't understand why I didn't hear it surround. Then I noticed the cover mentioned it was a stereo-SACD. Anyway, that album would be wonderful in surround sound, especially those creepy sounds.

    Von Zamla - Zamlaranamma
Von Zamla - No Makeup! (Just getting it on CD would be a great step forward)

Back in the 70's when quadrophonic came out my dad bought the system and it never seemed to work very well. It was a Sansui system and pretty expensive for that time period.
