    As a huge fan of the first record, is this worth purchasing??

    It's pretty good. Do you have Oxygene Live in Your Living Room yet? I'd make sure that I had that first.

    If you like Oxygen & Equinoxe it's certainly worth picking up.

    After a few ho-hum albums, it was a nice comeback. I haven't bought anything of his since. I think Les Chants Magnetique is his best overall album.

    Starting with Oxygene, I like his albums a little bit less each release, ending with Metamorphoses, the last one I have. I didn't hear the two after that, and the next one, Teo and Tea, I found to be unlistenable.

    Definitely - not quite as classic as the original but it's a sequel in more than name only; many of the same sounds are used and the overall atmosphere/progression from one track to another is the same.

    By the way, I thought his 1993 album Chronologie was excellent. It might be the one I've listened to the most.
