New Steve Reich - Radio Rewrite (of interest to Radiohead folks)

Hi there;

For those of you who dig Steve Reich and/or Radiohead, this might be kind of a cool new release:

It is a new recording of Electric Counterpoint done by Jonny Greenwood, along with a piano counterpoint piece and a recording of a 2012 piece that is built around elements from two Radiohead songs.

I was crazy lucky enough to see Greenwood perform Electric Counterpoint @ Big Ears last March and it was definitely a festival highlight. I can't say if I prefer this version over Metheny's from the late 80's...but it is quite a nice recording. Only got it yesterday, so it's still being digested at Chez Battema...thus far, it's money well spent

Thanks for posting that this is out. I posted a notice about this when it was first announced (a year or two ago) but then I forgot about it. It's definitely on my buy list.
