Hi,
I'll be in NY in mid-November and wondering where to go for a good jazz club to spend a night out. I know Iridium or Blue Note but the acts on those nights are not interesting, any hints ?

This online monthly news issue has tons of jazz listings, articles, etc.Must reading if you're a jazz fan in the NYC area.It's all here.

It doesn't get any "later" than at Smalls, in the West Village.
Smoke, on Broadway & 106th St., also goes late.
Check the Hot House and The New York City Jazz Record sites for listings.

One club not prominantly listed in New York City Jazz Record that you should know about is Cornelia Street Cafe,lots of world class live jazz and late shows on Fridays and Saturday nights.I've been there a few times over the years.A class joint.
