    Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

    That is the most ridiculous comment I have heard in a long time. Not leaving the country, WTF? Are you scared? Is your country so safe and secure that you will never travel outside of it? If so you are under a false sense of reality!

    Well, here it is November 10th, and still no update on the Baja Prog Official page. Sigh.

    Usually by this time, not only would we know the dates, the bands and even the daily lineups would be set.

    Hard not to come to the conclusion that it ain't happening in 2015. Getting all the travel/visas/payment together for the bands, booking the hotel, and so much more would have to be pretty well set by now.

    Especially hard to take for me, as I had to sit out 2014 due to an uncertain job situation which dragged on until a couple of months ago - and now that I'm ready to get back in the saddle with my favorite remaining festival, it looks to all appearances as if it will not happen (just when we thought it was safe to come out after a 2-3 year hiatus).

    Has anyone here heard anything from Alfonso? Anywhere else?

    Argh - et tu, Baja Prog? In mourning...

    Of course, I hope the powers that be can get the finances together to resume it in the future - it went away once and came back (albeit for this one year), so here's hoping it will rise again...
