    Necromonkey - Live Bootleg #1

    Good morning.

    We are getting very close to releasing the first live bootleg from the US-tour.

    The track listing is as follows.

    1. How to become an Orphan planet in 3 easy steps
    2. “Every time we went there we always hoped Khan would be our waiter. The food was decent, the service awful but there was something almost magnetic about Khan and his extra finger on his left hand. You wanted him to touch your plate”
    3. Pandas always try to disguise their sluttyness as being….”openminded”
    4. Living in the shadow of Kent Korns Cheston
    5. Roth Stem
    6. Impossible gibbons.

    As the songs are fairly different from the studio versions we felt it would be unfair to call them by their wrong names on the album. We hope you understand.

    These live bootlegs will be done in very limited under the radar quantities with handprinted covers. They are a measly 17 dollars each + P & P.

    We will be shipping the first copies in about ten days so if you want to order a copy and be in the first batch please drop us a line at Necromonkeyness@gmail.com

    To my knowledge the ProgDay set was not recorded unless they are using an audience recording. Mike did not have his rig set up this year.

    This is from the Pianos show in New York,

    The Progday show sounded really great...the version that is already drifting about. We have one recording which isnt as happening as the real boot.

    The interesting thing about these recordings is the fact that we are playing material that isnt released yet as well as the improv stuff. I would say that 30 - 40% of the material on these recording is different from the studio albums.

    We have even changed the ongoing studio versions because of the improv stuff from the live shows.

    I was at this show, and it was a pretty damn great performance. This should be a great release.

    Yeah the future is looking pretty interesting...!

    For the new studio album we have three songs mixed and done. Being Pluto is next in line...Its pretty chunky.

    Seriously though, while the one studio album I've listened to is not for everyone, the show at ProgDay definitely WAS for all lovers of adventurous Swedish prog, so this bootleg will be and it seems like the next studio album will be too.

    Maybe try the cample track they posted - I haven't listened yet.
