    or what. The best sounding is the original Vinyl release on a pristine turntable. Or maybe you are happy with MP3's...depends on the person I guess.

    Look for the original release on Charisma/Virgin cd. CDSCD4001. I think it sound fantastic myself.

    Not sure. I bought whatever version I could find at Best Buy about 12 years ago. Sounds fine to me. Love it. Great album. Prolly my favorite Genesis album (and Wind and Wutherin').

    I thought that album was well recorded from the get go, maybe the best sounding one Genesis ever recorded. So the original Atlantic WEA or Charisma/Virgin sounds fantastic. The SACD also is stupendous, despite what any nattering nabobs of negativity may say.

    I have no clue what CD version I have. It sounds great to me, even on tinny speakers. In fact, I think I'll play it in my car today on my various errands, although my car does NOT have tinny speakers.

    ...as to the original question, the original Atco CD is one of the very best sounding CD's in my collection
