Album covers that have been banned or censored !

I don't think this cover was banned, but it seems to have been considered shocking.

No more so than this one, surely:

“Moi j’aime les films d’amour”

It’s a single, not an album, but it’s another one altered for copyright infringement. You’ll notice the page has two versions of the cover artwork: the original withdrawn version, and the later issue with the Peanuts cartoon blanked out. My guess is that King Features Syndicate got an early tip on this and slapped a cease and desist order on WEA records, as I can’t imagine Charles Schulz caring.

I also find it amusing that the song is in French, yet the cartoon is in Italian.
