    Rachel Flowers in New Poll!

ProgressiveRockCentral.com has a new poll - Best Progressive Rock Keyboardist of 2014 - and much to our surprise and glee, they have included Rachel! She currently sits in the #6 spot beneath two of her idols, Ryo Okumoto and Jordan Rudess. Much as we love these guys, we hope you will go there and vote for Rachel!!

    The poll is at http://progressiverockcentral.com/20...-in-2014-poll/

Vote for Rachel!! And just in case you need a reason, here are a couple...

    Done!

Jeannie - just in case you weren't aware, trurl is also a very talented keyboardist/composer. His post says a lot.

Hahahaa! Thanks Everybody!! This is really a trip! Of course, things could change drastically by the end of the month, but as of right now the only people ahead of Rachel in the poll are Roger King and Ryo Okumoto... well, and "Other," if you want to count that. Amazing to see Rachel getting so much support! ~ jeanie

Hey, I'm happy a few people got off their butts and voted for me, makes me feel good. Rachel is more of a player than I'll ever be, she deserves to go to the top as far as I'm concerned. ;-)

She's moved into 2nd place (if we discount the "other" category). Second only behind Roger King.

Congrats on the nomination. BTW, how did Rachel like King Crimson? I saw her hobnobbing in the lobby.

Considering she plays Emerson almost as well as Keith does and possibly even better these days I'm not surprised.

Yes! Jordan Rudess is pretty much running away with it! That's cool. As Rachel says, "He's amazing!"

No offense to anyone, but I voted for Mike Visaggio. He's a good egg.

Thought I'd post Rachel's new SoundCloud offering in this thread as a reminder to keep voting for her in the progressiverock.com poll - http://progressiverockcentral.com/20...-in-2014-poll/

Was offline for almost 2 weeks while on vacation and just listened to both Proc & LTIA2.

Why is it taking Rachel so long to get her own series on AXS TV, Jackie?

I've been making & listening to music for 56 years (started singing acapella doo-wop in a group at 13), and in all honesty, first hearing Rachel a couple of years ago was every bit as mind-boggling and technically proficient as any other performer I've ever heard for the first time, and for an oldster like me, that's saying something. I will continue to revel in the force of nature that is Rachel Flowers.

Voted for Rachel. Not nearly as important as the music, of course.
