yep one thing i liked is this feature where it sort of invites you into discussion of this album from the get go. yep thanks for bringing it back.

Looks good. But let's avoid having the Rush album Hemispheres as the featured CD, OK?
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

This is really good, but I have a question (apologies if this got answered elsewhere, but I didn't see it). Over the weekend I clicked on the Eddie Jobson/Zinc picture and it took me to the featured CD thread, no problem. But unlike the threads where you can click "first un-viewed post," this just took you to the first post and you had to scroll. OK, no big deal, I tried to enter the thread through the featured CD link on the home page, and I couldn't find it. I now see it there, but when the picture was at the top it didn't seem to be on the main page. Did I just miss it, or is this how it is supposed to work? Any way to have the featured CD thread on the main page while the picture is there so it is easier to access the newer posts in the thread?

    Thanks,

    Bill

FYI, I just looked and the Unexpect album whose picture is at the top of the main page does not have a corresponding thread on the main page. So it's the same problem I experienced with the Jobson thread.

Clicking the Featured CD takes you to that thread. If there have been any posts since you last read the thread, there will be a "View First Unread" link above the first post (toward the right hand side).

The CURRENT featured CD is not on the main page - it is in the Featured CDs page. Click here to go to that forum, or go there by clicking "Forums", "Progressive Ears MUSIC Forums", "FEATURED CDs".

When we post a new current CD, then the old one goes onto the main page and the current one stays "stuck" at the top of the Featured CDs forum.

We might change that system soon - but there are some internal things to be done before we can make the change.
    Regards,

    Duncan

OK, got it. I didn't see that "View First Unread" in the thread, that is very helpful. You answered all my questions, thanks! I'm still getting used to things on the new site. I am really glad to have the featured CD album covers back on the main page!
