Thread: CDs too new to have MP3 tags in databases

  1. #26
When I used to DJ, I often WISHED that my subscription discs had not yet been entered. Many DJs have odd ways of entering track info. Often, they are either all caps or all lowercase.
Some DJs would take out all gaps. Most of the time, I had to re-type all album info, even the disc title.

I end up editing my mp3 tags most of the time to a greater or lesser extent. If there is no info available, I enter the stuff in by hand and upload it to the database. I feel like its doing my bit. Most of the time the info is there, though.

I despise the [Remaster] tags too, and always edit them out. There are some Dick's Picks where every track has (live) written after it is too.
