Claudia Quintet: which album to buy?

I heared some tunes of this band which I liked. In my next order at Wayside I want to include a Claudia Quintet album.

    Which album would you recommend?

While i'm not AS familiar with their oeuvre, i'd go with Semi-Formal as i recognize most of the song titles from that one.

Hell, they're ALL damn good! I started with I, Caludia - but I'd actually agree that Semi Formal is possibly their most strikingly coherent outing. Hollenbeck is pure brilliance all over, IMHO.

I agree with starting with either Semi Formal or I, Claudia. I also am a fan of Royal Toast with Gary Verasce as a close 3rd.

I also highly recommend two albums by Hollenbeck that are excellent and more obviously in the Jazz range, Joys and Desires and Eternal Interludes.
