KICKSTARTER campaign for Armando Gallo "I Know What I Like" Genesis App

As someone who never had a chance to read his book, this looks rather interesting.

I bought this one from his Kickstarter campaign:

A limited edition photo of 100 of PARIS 77... 12" by 18". You will also get what you get in the pledging levels 1 thru 5. All photos are signed by STEVE HACKETT and ARMANDO GALLO

Me too. I still cherish Gallo's "The Evolution Of A Rock Band" from 1978 (reprint September 1979).

Me and my prog friends all bought "I Know What I Like" when it 1st came out and it's still on my bookshelf After reading the Kickstarter page, I wish rather than raising money to create an app he'd use the money to publish an updated version with all color photos and the additional shots he said never made it into the original...I'd pay good money for the book version but have no interest in buying the app.

What am I expected to do, read the thing on my phone? Or on a PC, if it can run on one?

    I have the book anyway...

Armando released a follow up to I Know What I Like in 1984 which included many additional photos (selected from Gallo's collection by a Genesis fan).

Thanks, I never heard of that before! Funny thing, in the mid 90's I bought an Italian 3CD import box (bootleg clearly) also called "From One Fan to Another". It came with a full color booklet with shots from the Lamb tour, 2CD's from a complete live Lamb show and the 3rd CD was a weird collection of early things like Pacidy, Let Us Now Make Love, Twilght Alehouse, Looking for Someone, Silver Song, Going out to get You, etc...

That set is actually called "From One Fan To All Others." I know, it would read better the other way!

One of the benefits of being an old-time Genesis fan: I bought the original when it came out and bought the updated copy when IT came out.

If people are not already aware the app is out now and jolly good it is too.

I kicked in some funds to help and he sent me a signed book as thanks.

Even got support credit on the app, which wasn't expected but was much appreciated

I liked Genesis when I was at school, but I wasn't their biggest fan. Got the book a few times from the library, but that was it. Never seen it in a store and not sure I would have bought it, or asked for it for my birthday. I can remember a book about spiders, I once got.
