What is slightly baffling to me is the thought process. Well, I can't hold a brush to paint, so I'll use a typewriter instead. I don't see "normal or sane" individuals doing art this way so how he came up with it is beyond my pay grade.

I guess the art just has to be made, no matter the process. I don't know if I would have the will to survive if I were him let alone try and do something artistic.
