I'm still picturing him and Toyah debating the plotholes in this week's Doctor Who episode. I wonder if he's ever had to sleep on the couch for saying "It's just a TV show, dear".

Hey, can anyone tells us if there's a limit on that tourbox? I wouldn't be surprised if they had a one-per-customer rule like Burning Shed does, but I could easily grab three or four just for friends who can't make any shows. Was there a rule in Albany?

The rule is if you can get Fripp to sign your first copy you can buy more.

None that I was aware of.

    Ecstatic about the concert ticket.

If you're ecstatic about the ticket, imagine how you'll feel at the actual concert! ;-)

I would be wary of using a Credit Card at a Merch Table. I and a number of other people had our CC's taken at the Agalloch show back in June. Among them besides myself who had theirs taken was the Merch guy's CC himself. He took them per an iPhone Application.

Likely from some hacker who got access via an unsecured Wifi signal.

Ever since, I am highly questioning ever using a CC to anyone who uses anything digital or online. If it's 1 of those old fashioned paper dispensers, I suppose that is still safe, the electronic kind is likely okay as well. But those iPhone and anything via a website is a big No-No for me.

What a great show. Talking with them backstage they said they are recording and filming every show, even the screwups. They are currently working on setting up a Japanese tour.

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Good point. Hadn't considered that. The ticket is so lovely. Wait, my friend has it. What can happen next?

Not only was the line incredibly long, but people were going insane with buying stuff. The two guys in front of me in line both spent at least $300 dollars. It makes the $75 I spent (t-shirt, 40th edition Islands and a knit cap) seem rather cheap

Oh yeah, and kudos for "knowing their" audience - they had shirt sized up to XXXXL. I found that pretty amusing

I went to the Boston show last night and who was working the merch table? None other than Patricia Fripp, a.k.a. "the Sistery Person"!

The lovely Ms. Wilcox was back by the mixing desk when I was walking out, talking to people as they left.

No, but they did sell super-concentrated breath mints for those who completely lack taste.
