The YT clips are not impressive at all, as opposed to the actual show.
I got to see them in the launch party of their first CD, before the Lindsay Cooper tribute (went to see Magma in Paris and got them as a pleasant bonus) -
They are amazing live, very theatrecal and funny and yet still with a musical edge to it all.
I came with no expectations and had my head blown -
They are all over the map, from minimalistic music to Zeuhl to big band jazz to gamelan to plain rock -
It is all there, coupled with very funny antics (like holding a sacred ritual to a reverred picture of Barry Manilow) and acrobatics,
Though I am not sure how all this would pass at the slightly sterile venue of the RIO in Carmoux (I saw them in an intimate club settings, so I guess it wont be as good as that)

I don't think it was specifically planned as a one-time thing (only Cuneifest was specifically planned as a one-time thing! ), but I don't think any decision(s) have been made about when or if there will be another.

This is one of the most interesting European Avant Festivals created by former Etron Fou Leloublan bassist Ferdinand Richard. It's the 30th edition this year. My favourites : Acid Mothers Temple, Himmel (a project by the genial Andy Saunders), and Gunkanjima. Btw the location is awesome it's on a classified site on a small island close to Marseille l'ile de Frioul and Marseille is a great town.
