    Looking at purchasing Stanley Clark's School Days and was reading that this was the best remaster. How are the masters from this label...

    I haven't heard most of them, but I have this one, and it's sounds good to me.

    This was the series with the borders on the front cover, I think. This is the only version of 'School Days' I've ever seen, to be honest! (apart from that 'Original Album Classics' box, which I don't have)

    Yeah, I never had any problem with the sound on this.

    I've recently compared the Columbia Jazz-remaster from 1992 David Sancious' Forest Of Feelings with the new edition from Esoteric and I can hardly hear any difference. The latter is slightly more dynamic.
